Codex reset signals & forecast method
How we distinguish a hint, an announcement and a completed reset.
Read the words, then the context.
- Hint: something relevant, without an explicit commitment. A reply without its parent context is ambiguous.
- Announcement: a reset is promised. A stated time window is shown separately.
- Completion: the source explicitly says the reset happened. This does not confirm your individual account balance.
- Banked grant: a stored reset is available to use later. It is separate from an automatic reset.
When an announced deadline passes, the watch waits for confirmation. Collection failures are shown as delayed updates.

Why there is no percentage yet
We do not have a continuous observation history or evaluated predictions. A numerical forecast would suggest more certainty than the data supports.
The experimental baseline in the code uses the frequency of distinct automatic reset events. It is not enabled as a live forecast. Before release, it needs reliable coverage, forward-issued snapshots and an evaluation that includes failures.
