A little help when building stops.

What it does

• Matches an error message you paste against published troubleshooting guides, in your browser.
• Explains what a guide applies to, what it is based on, and when it was last reviewed.
• Explains how usage limits and resets are described officially, without stating numbers that change.
• Provides a personal reset timer that stores nothing outside your own browser.
• Records verified public reset events with their sources, and states plainly when there are none.

What it deliberately does not do

• It does not connect to your OpenAI account, and it cannot see your usage.
• It does not upload, store or log the error text you paste. Matching runs entirely in your browser.
• It does not sell anything, run ads, or require an account.
• It does not predict a personal reset time for you. Only your account knows that.
• It does not claim to have restored anyone's access. A finished countdown means the time you entered has passed.

Independence

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by OpenAI. "Codex" and "ChatGPT" are used descriptively to refer to those products. All guidance here is written independently from public sources, and every guide links to the sources it was written from.

About the numbers on this site

This site does not state how many users it has helped, what its fix success rate is, or how many people are reading right now. It has no real data for any of those, and it will not invent them. Where a count is shown - the Reset Beacon - it is a count of records the server actually wrote, labelled as such.

Who writes this

Content is produced and reviewed as a site editorial process rather than attributed to a named individual. No author biographies are published because there are none to publish, and no credentials are claimed. The editorial policy describes how material is sourced, reviewed and corrected.

Contact

There is no working contact channel yet. Rather than publish an address that cannot receive mail, this site publishes none, and says so. When a reachable channel exists, it will be listed here and on the editorial policy page.
